Terms of service

Last updated 21 October 2026

Draft for legal review. This text has not yet been approved by Connexxion Telecom's lawyers.

These terms apply to your use of CSwitch, a product of Connexxion Telecom, including our website, dashboard, mobile app, POS terminals and APIs (together, the “Services”). By opening an account or using the Services, you agree to them on behalf of your merchant account.

Your account

  • The Services are for registered merchants and sole traders operating in Nigeria.
  • You must give us accurate information and keep it up to date. We may ask for documents to verify you and your merchant account at any time.
  • You are responsible for everyone you give access to your account, and for keeping passwords, PINs and API keys secret.

Using the Services

  • Use the Services only for lawful merchant activity, and not for fraud, illegal goods or any activity we tell you we can't support.
  • Describe your goods and services honestly to customers, and honour refunds and disputes fairly.
  • Don't try to interfere with, reverse engineer or overload the Services.

Payments, fees and settlement

Our fees are published on our pricing page or agreed with you in writing. We deduct fees from transactions or your balance. Settlement timing depends on the payment method and is shown in your dashboard. We may hold funds where we reasonably suspect fraud, where a payment is disputed, or where the law requires it.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a customer disputes a payment, we'll tell you and ask for evidence. Where a dispute is decided against you, the amount and any applicable fees may be deducted from your balance. See complaints and disputes.

POS terminals

Terminals remain subject to the purchase or lease terms agreed with you. Keep them secure, and tell us straight away if one is lost or stolen.

Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time once outstanding obligations are settled. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if required by law or a regulator, or to protect you, your customers or us from fraud or harm. Where we can, we'll give you notice and a reason.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep the Services available and accurate, but we can't promise they will always be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited as set out in your account agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll give you notice of material changes, and continuing to use the Services after they take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
